History

Officine Meccaniche Pontillo, founded in 1981 by Antonio Pontillo, has evolved over time thanks to the dedication of its founder and the effective application of its business strategies. The company has become a crucial reference point in the precision mechanics sector, achieving a prominent position among both national and international manufacturers, particularly in the field of powder metallurgy and precision mechanical construction.

In 2003, Officine Meccaniche Pontillo inaugurated a new facility of about 4,000 square meters, equipped with a modern air-conditioned room that houses the metrology department, EDM machines, special grinding machines, and high-speed milling machines. In 2023, the company completed the installation of a new photovoltaic plant, which brought the company’s energy self-sufficiency to 85%. Today, the company’s permanent staff numbers about 50 employees.
